ARE YOU THE ONE?
Due to internal promotion, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join our People Team! You will be responsible for managing recruitment campaigns, attract top talent, and ensure a positive candidate experience at Blue Square. Your goal: hiring the best talent while delivering quality recruitment services aligned with our strategy.
WHAT YOU’LL BE UP TO
CANDIDATE ATTRACTION AND ENGAGEMENT Craft on-brand adverts and distribute them across our website and job boards via our applicant tracking system (ATS) Utilise various methods including headhunting and compelling InMail messages to attract candidates efficiently and within agreed timelines. Present hiring managers with a diverse selection of candidates that match the vacancy brief, while maintaining regular communication for updates. | |
CANDIDATE SCREENING AND SUPPORT Being the face of Blue Square as you conduct in-depth screening calls with candidate and deliver constructive feedback to all candidates throughout the process, successful or unsuccessful | |
INTERVIEW PREPARATION AND MANAGEMENT Prepare interview questions and relevant tasks to ensure candidates are assessed fairly against defined scoring criteria Actioning hiring manager feedback and scheduling interviews, ensuring the candidate receives clear preparation and guidance Conducting interviews and seeking constructive interview feedback from hiring managers | |
OFFER MANAGEMENT Managing the offer and onboarding process. Including preparing contracts, offer letters, conducting right-to-work, and pre-employment checks | |
EFFECTIVE TALENT PIPELINES Working with key stakeholders to understand forecasted demand and identifying candidates ahead of the curve to build engaged talent pipelines for each of your business area(s) | |
TALENT ACQUISITION STRATEGY EXECUTION Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their business area, vacancy requirements, and create job descriptions. Work with Talent Acquisition Manager to attract top talent and devise talent strategies. Collaborate with People Business Partners to assess internal talent availability. |
ARE YOU OUR PERFECT PARTNER?
- You’ll live close to our Hertford HQ to ensure strong team collaboration
- You’re a recruiter, preferably with some in-house experience, with a track record of successfully sourcing and hiring candidates, understanding what good talent looks like
- You’re familiar with applicant tracking systems (ATS) / other recruitment software
- You're people-oriented with a passion for delivering an exceptional candidate experience. A candidate may not be successful in their application this time, but we want them to still have an experience to remember
- You’re a strong communicator with great interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
- You’re organised with strong attention to detail
- You’re able to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment and manage multiple priorities, demonstrating a flexible approach
- You’re able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity
- You’re solutions orientated with the ability to identify new ways of working keeping up to date with industry trends to drive innovation
- You’re confident using Microsoft Office applications with the ability to quickly learn new systems
